Felix Ackermann
Partner / Founder
Felix has over 20 years of professional experience in private equity and turnaround management. He led the acquisition and buy-and-build of Seniocare in 2007 together with his investment partners.
Felix was part of the team that established 3i in Switzerland between 2000 and 2006 and has invested in various companies across industries and development stages. He previously led cross-border turnaround and interim management engagements with Helbling Management Consulting.
He holds an M.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) and a Bachelor from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
Felix is a director on the boards of various portfolio companies.
Michel Galeazzi
Partner / Founder
During his career, Michel has been involved in investments into industrial, service, and healthcare companies across Europe and emerging markets. He shares his experience in publications and as a regular speaker at industry conventions and academic institutions.
Prior to Evoco Michel was at HgCapital, working on a range of strategic and operational projects for portfolio companies, and at 3i, where he was a member of the European buyout team. He began his career at UBS in the M&A advisory business.
Michel holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, and a Master’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Berne, Switzerland. He served as an Officer in the Swiss Army’s mechanised infantry units.
Michel is a director on the boards of various portfolio companies.
Lorenzo Gregory Sormani
Partner
Lorenzo joined Evoco in 2016. Prior to Evoco, Lorenzo worked in strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company and Monitor Group, and in private equity in the Zürich offices of Monitor Clipper Partners, a US-based mid-cap fund with USD 2.5 billion assets under management.
Lorenzo holds an MBA from INSEAD, an M.Sc. double degree in Business Administration from the ESB in Reutlingen, Germany, and Università Cattolica in Piacenza, Italy, and is a CFA charterholder.
At Evoco, Lorenzo is responsible for our value creation initiatives across our portfolio and sits on the board of multiple companies. He brings a mix of experiences to play from strategy consulting to private equity, and from Interim-COO of a Berlin-based start-up to his background in family business. He also steers Evoco’s efforts for new transactions in the Nordics and Southern Europe.
Patrick Camenisch
Director Finance and Operations
Before Evoco, Patrick was COO/CRO and member of the executive management of GZC Investment Management AG, a discretionary alternative investment manager. Prior to that he worked for Swiss Capital Alternative Investment AG in Dublin and Zurich, an asset manager with USD 5 billion assets under management, as well as for AXA Insurance Company in Paris. He began his career as auditor at Ernst & Young, focusing on the banking and asset management sector.
Patrick holds a M.A. in Business Administration from the University of Zurich, is a Swiss Certified Accountant (Swiss CPA), and a FRM Charterholder.
At Evoco, Patrick is responsible for all financial, operational and regulatory matters of the management company and its investment products. In addition, he oversees financial due diligence processes and is involved in the financial planning and monitoring of the Evoco portfolio.
Julia Lundström
Director
Julia joined Evoco in 2021. Prior to Evoco, Julia was responsible for the distribution of Private Assets at Banque Lombard Odier. She was also involved in asset raising for private equity strategies at Edmond de Rothschild and Capstone Partners. Julia started her career as an investment banker with Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital in London, as well as working at the Boston Consulting Group.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics.
At Evoco, Julia is responsible for Investor Relations. She brings significant experience in raising capital across private asset strategies and has built long-term relationships with diverse investor profiles, including institutional investors, family offices and private clients.
Philipp Stoll
Associate Director
Philipp joined Evoco in 2014 after gaining private equity experience at Capital Dynamics, where he conducted and published a quantitative research project on performance measurement in private equity.
During his studies, Philipp founded and built up the Swiss Private Equity Conference, which today is a leading annual event hosting 250+ senior private equity professionals from all over Europe and beyond.
Philipp holds a master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from University of St. Gallen, and apart from Switzerland, studied in the Netherlands and Colombia.
At Evoco, Philipp leads the deal origination process and financing activities. He develops transactions and leads diverse value creation projects in portfolio companies.
Maximilien Job
Associate Director
Maximilien joined Evoco in 2017. He previously gathered experience in strategy consulting at Estin & Co where he participated in several strategic audits as well as commercial due diligences for family offices and private equity funds.
Maximilien holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Neuchâtel and a M.A. in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, with semesters spent abroad at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and the University of Cologne in Germany. Maximilien is also a CFA charterholder and serves as Officer in the Swiss Army’s infantry units.
Stefan Böni
Associate Director
Stefan joined Evoco in 2022. Prior to Evoco, Stefan was a Senior Investment Manager at Waterland Private Equity, CEO of Vasco Group, a manufacturer of heating and ventilation solutions, and Head of Strategy and Business Development at its parent company, Arbonia. He started his career at Roland Berger as a management consultant in Europe and Latin America.
Stefan holds a Master’s degree in Law and Economics from the University of St. Gallen and recently completed a Digital Transformation Program at Stanford University. He will focus on Evoco’s origination and execution efforts.
Mariateresa Oldrati
Associate
Mariateresa joined Evoco in 2022. Prior to that, she gained significant experience in M&A and Consulting at Deloitte in Zurich, advising clients on how to plan and successfully execute complex, large-scale transactions, including mergers and separations / spin-offs. She started her career in Audit, in the same company.
Mariateresa holds a MSc Degree in Economics (Management) from the University of Lugano, having spent some time at the University of St. Gallen, and a BSc Degree from the Catholic University (Milan) in Economics & Foreign Languages.
Sophia Korth
Senior Associate
Sophia joined Evoco in 2021, after 5 years in Investment Banking, lately at ALANTRA in Zurich, where she advised on several cross-border public and private M&A transactions as well as IPO advisory. Prior to that, Sophia advised SME clients in the German Mittelstand on financing and transactions at the Munich-based M&A boutique Aquin & Cie.
Sophia graduated from the University of Westminster in London with a B.Sc. Business Management and holds a M.Sc. Finance & Accounting. At the University of Westminster, she was an honorary member of the Entrepreneurship society.
She continues to be involved in her family’s business in the med-tech space and has lived in Germany, the UK, Australia, and Switzerland.
Jan Vetter
Associate
Jan joined Evoco in 2018. Prior to Evoco, Jan co-founded an M&A consulting start-up and gained experience in the private debt markets with Ardian in London, where he took part in the review and development of investment opportunities.
Jan holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Finance with distinction from the Cass Business School in London, where he headed the Cass Private Equity society. At Cass Jan also became an honorary member of the Beta Gamma Sigma society.
Sébastien Dewarrat
Associate
Sébastien joined Evoco in 2019, after gaining experience as Analyst at Goldman Sachs in Investment Management. Sebastien also gathered experience in M&A at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Frankfurt and in Private Equity at LGT Capital Partners, a leading alternative asset manager with over $55bn in AuM.
Sébastien holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, and apart from Switzerland, studied in Hong Kong and in the UK. During his studies, Sébastien notably contributed to the organisation of the St. Gallen Symposium, a global gathering of Leaders of Today and Tomorrow, where he established and maintained contacts with business leaders in Switzerland.
Ebru Goez
Team Assistant
Ebru joined Evoco in 2018. Previously, she worked as an Office Manager for a major Chinese telecommunications company, where she was responsible for 10 offices across Switzerland.
Ebru has a degree as a business assistant and speaks fluent German, English, Turkish and has basic knowledge in French.
Selena Lenz
Team Assistant
Selena joined Evoco in November 2020 to support the team. Previously, she worked as Legal Assistant at Gate Gourmet Switzerland GmbH.
Selena has a KV business school degree, speaks fluent German and English and is intermediate in French. She has extensive high-level support experience spanning 20 years and has also worked abroad.
Dr Benoît Leleux
Previously, Benoît was Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, and Associate Professor and Zubillaga Chair in Finance and Entrepreneurship at Babson College, Wellesley, USA.
He is the author of “Investing Private Capital in Emerging and Frontier Market SMEs”, “Nurturing Science-Based Start-ups”, “From Microfinance to Small Business Finance” and “A European Casebook on Entrepreneurship and New Ventures”. “Private Equity 4.0: Reinventing Value Creation”, with H. van Swaay and E. Megally was published at Wiley in 2015. He has also written a large collection of award-winning case studies and scientific papers.
He holds a Ph.D. from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
Dr Johannes Fritz
Independent member of the Evoco AG board of directors.
Previously, Dr. Johannes Fritz led the family offices of Stefan Quandt and Susanne Klatten.
He represented the families in boards of participations and was CEO of SKion GmbH, Mrs Klatten’s investment holding.
Dr. Johannes Fritz is an independent adviser and member of various boards, incl. the Zeppelin Foundation.
Peter Pfister
Peter Pfister has over 19 years of global private equity experience and has spent the last 11 years in Asia. Most recently he was a Managing Director at Pavilion Alternatives Group (formerly Altius Associates) responsible for leading the Asia-Pacific business, overseeing investments, business development and managing client relationships.
Prior to joining Altius, Peter was Head of Asia-Pacific for Deutsche Bank’s private equity business (DB Private Equity). Peter was previously Vice President for LGT Capital Partners, based in Switzerland, where he focused on European investments and business development. Before joining LGT, he worked for Mettler-Toledo in business development and for Caterpillar in corporate planning and product marketing.
Peter holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and an MBA from IMD.
Lindsay Dibden
Prior to retiring from the partnership in 2012, Lindsay served on the firm’s Investment Committee and Executive Committee.
He is now the owner of two private businesses and manages a portfolio of other investments, and in addition acts as an advisor to Spring Ventures and a restructuring consultancy.
Lindsay read Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College, London, and is a Chartered Accountant.
Dr Barbara Frei
Barbara Frei has over 22 years of global experience in top level executive positions. Currently she leads the European operations of Schneider Electric (EUR 25 Billion listed technology group).
She started her career in 1998 as a development project manager for motors and drives at ABB Schweiz AG. Until 2016, she held various senior management positions within the ABB Group, including regional responsibility as Country Manager Czech Republic and from 2010 onwards as Regional Manager Mediterranean in Italy. From 2013, she took responsibility for the worldwide drives and controls business.
She is member of the board of directors at listed Swisscom and SPS.
Barbara has broad experience in automation, power engineering and digitization. She holds a PhD ETH Zurich and an EMBA IMD Lausanne.
Peter Waller
Peter Waller has extensive experience as Chief Financial Officer for public and PE-backed international businesses and in consulting.
Peter was the CFO for Swissport, the leading airport ground services and air cargo handling company, and led the company through the COVID crisis and its financial restructuring. Previously, he had served as CFO for CEVA Logistics, a worldwide logistics company, where he oversaw significant performance improvements and managed the IPO on the Swiss stock exchange, at Eurofins Scientific, a leader in bio-analytical testing, and at Fyber, a mobile advertising technology provider.
Peter also served as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and with Alix Partners.
He is an independent non-executive director on the boards of US logistics company Syncreon and Evoco portfolio company reBuy.
Peter holds a Master’s in Business Administration from ESSEC Business School and University of Mannheim and received a Ph.D. from the University of Paderborn.
Nick Watkins
Nick brings over three decades of experience at large financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, UBS, Investec and Partners Group. He has developed deep experience in the fields of Finance and Operations through his previous roles as Chief Financial Officer, Head of Finance, Accounting & Treasury and Internal Auditor. Over the last 30 years, he has built up large global teams, developed and implemented new proprietary systems and driven consolidation efforts resulting in significant cost savings.
He is currently Partner & Chief Financial Officer of Siloxene, an innovative and revolutionary start-up in the field of molecular technology.
Nick studied at the University Wales College Newport & Bristol Polytechnic.
